4th Dimention–not just for time travellers
I think that when we make something out of junk, or anything that it wasn’t originally intended for, we are messing with the 4th dimension, or time.
Look at it this way, when we take an old cutting board and make a picture frame (hypothetical, I’ve never done that) we radically alter the time-path the cutting board was on. So, the time-line it probably would have had was:
Tree–>Board–>Cutting Board–>Landfill–>Dirt
The new time-line looks more like:
Tree–>Board–>Cutting Board–>Picture Frame–>?–>Landfill–>Dirt
On further look at the “radical” change I mentioned, perhaps it isn’t so different to say that something was once a tree and is now a cutting board than it is to say it was once a cutting board but is now a picture frame. But I know that the place it gets stored in the house is very different.
Wouldn’t it be interesting if the time-line looked like this:
Tree–>Board–>Cutting Board–>Picture Frame–>Keepsake for Astronaut–>Lost during Space Accident–>Space Junk–>Alien Hat–>Alien Lawn Ornament (apparently, the alien that found it is also a junk creator–convenient, eh?)–>Space Landfill–>New form of Space Dirt
Random as I know you are thinking this is, just think about the places your stuff goes and it’s history–think 4th dimensionally.

i’ve read an article abput 4th dimention that the writer(don’t emember the name) had the idea that 4th dimention is not related to the time but speed!
with high speed you can have the ability in 4th dimention: finding out whats in something like a cube without opening it!

Cool! I wonder if I could do that with a dumpster–it might save time?
