“Junk” House Project
I suppose that this week is the “houses built reusing ‘junk’ materials” theme week. Tuesday’s post featured a house made using wings from a 747. Today, I’ve found an even more remarkable (and less expensive) home made from stuff other people threw away!
Luiz Fernando Barreto de Queiroz Bispo (hereafter refered to, for ease of writing and reading, as Bispo), from Brazil, has made a floating house out of things people throw out into the Cunha canal.

I am amazed, I wish I could find a picture of the house, maybe I’ll have to look at other articles. (If I–or maybe you–find one, I’ll post it at the top.) Can you believe it, someone threw out a Jet Ski??? I’m not so sure my wife would move into a floating house I made out of others’ trash–especially in a polluted canal. Hats off to Bispo for his inventiveness. (I’m having Waterworld flashbacks…anyone else?)
Has anyone done anything even close to Mr. Bispo? Perhaps a playhouse for your kids or raft?
