Artistic Collage
Collages are certainly made from things that some would call junk. They range from the magazine cut-outs of elementary school, to modern and trendy artwork. I thought I’d feature a collage that features some of the junk creations I’ve had up on this blog over the past few months.
Regardless of what makes them up, I’ve never seen or heard of anyone that purchased something new in order to make it into a collage. (Correct me if I’m wrong!) This means that collage artists (or perhaps collagists?) are the junk creators’ first or second cousin (perhaps once or twice removed).

Some professional collage-artists makes their own collage-pictures first (photos, paintings a.s.o.), then they cut them up and put them together in a collage… I don’t know if that counts or not…

It counts, if you ask me!! So, let me ammend my previous statement: Many collages are created by junk creators.
