DIY (MYO) Vest
I got this interesting idea for making a “waistcoat” from an old blazer from a post on www.buzznet.com. Click here for the specific post by Lefran. Hats off to her for her creativity and for doing something other than just toss her old clothes.
I like her idea! I have always thought it would be nice to make a really cool vest from an old suitcoat–the problem is that the middle of the suitcoat (the part that is ideal for a vest) is the part I always seem to grow out of first…sigh.
To be honest, I don’t know that I could pull off the giant red ribbon that seems to tie the whole thing together.

Heh. Sorry. It took me a while to reply to my own, so I had to hit the bloggers I like to torture them, too.

No need to be sorry! It’s an honor to be chosen!
