EcoHanger Contest Winners

First, I’d like to thank everyone who entered the EcoHanger contest. I appreciate you taking the time to answer the question of why you hate wire hangers. Seems some of you agree that wire hangers can serve some purposes, but they just aren’t that great for clothes for many different reasons. Also, thanks to our contest sponsor, Hanger Network.

The winners below were randomly chosen via a number generator. I included the winning responses as well to avoid any confusion with same-name entries. The winners have been contacted by e-mail.

Congratulations Robin, Tiffany, Kim and Carol! I hope you enjoy the EcoHangers. If you didn’t win, but you want to try these out, suggest them to your dry cleaner or order from our contest sponsor.

Robin — “They make deep long wrinkles in skirts and dresses (because of the way they hang) and mess up the shoulders. Hangers are easily bent out of shape and they also get tangled up with each other. They are very good for other things such as fishing things out of drains . . . .”

Tiffany — “My reason for disliking them is definitely stepping on them. I’m so clumsy and hangers on the floor do not help! I tend to step on one part and stick my foot in the open part and trip myself.”

Kim — Wire hangers can be a pain to me when I reach in hubbies side of the closet to get just one they all jump out at me.”

Carol — “I’m always poking holes in something with the wire hangers or myself.”
