From Bed to Bench
I wish I could tell you who came up with this idea–a garden bench made from an old single bed headboard. The blog I got this from was: The View from my Garden; the post title: Now that Fall has Fallen…I wish the temperatures would too!
I like this idea for a couple of reasons–1) I wish I’d thought of it and 2) I think it is well made. We all know by now that I much prefer junk creations to be useful and/or pretty–rather than just something made from someone else’s leavings.
Has anyone else made this project before? If you have, could you give us some pointers?

In a comment on my post for the next day (Wed, Oct 3rd, 2007) Titled “Junk Blueprint Journal,” Roni told us that this bench doesn’t hold up outside, because the glue used in the original bed stuff is intended for indoor use. Darn!
