“From Junky to Funky”
Before

After

Well, this time, check out a TV series that I have been missing (we only get 2 channels). It’s called From Junky to Funky and it is featured on the DIY (Do It Yourself) Channel. (The pictures came from there too.)
I normally tell you about the websites I feature, but this one sells itself so well, I think I’ll end with their blurb about the show:
Tossouts become useful treasures with DIY Network’s From Junky to Funky! The show’s host, Samantha Gleisten, determines what is needed to transform a room. She then takes the homeowner on a scavenger hunt through urban streets and alleys, garage sales, thrift stores, and dumpsters searching for promising pieces. Back at Sam’s workspace, the homeowner learns step-by-step how to transform a found object into something wonderful for the home. Afterwards, Samantha and carpenter Tim Borntrager perform miraculous makeovers with the remaining found items that surprise and amaze the homeowner.
