Junk Lovin Links
I’m not the only one talking junk around the Lifestyles Channel.
Linette at Mother Earth’s Garden links you to a way to turn your plain clay pots into chalkboard pots for easy labeling year after year.
Cyndi at Layers Upon Layers shows you how to make a paper weaving.
Maricar at Keeping the Castle is reading my mind. I recently bookstore-adored a junk book she’s discussing in her post for Earth Day. That means I didn’t buy the book, but cruised through it in the store. : ) The book is called Decorating Junk Market Style by Sue Whitney and Ki Nassauer. A couple of reuse projects the authors discuss include using old carpenter levels as wall shelves for photos and attaching a plain metal cheese grater to the front of a standard night-light to diffuse the light. Check out Maricar’s post about turning junk into home decor.
Heather at The Food Bowl talks about One Way to Reuse Grocery Sacks. She also featured my kitty Choco as pet of the week!
And perhaps most fascinating of all, Noreen at Hankering for Yarn muses about Spinning Cat Fur.

Hi Peggy and thanks so much for linking to me!
By the way, I used some of the cat fur that I spun into yarn to spool knit a Worry Doll!

You’re welcome Linette and Noreen.
Noreen, that’s amazing, and my husband thinks cats aren’t useful… : )
