Men’s Rubber Shackle Band

Men’s Rubber Shackle Band

This men’s bracelet is made from rubber disks and ornament hanging wire.  (It’s also available to purchase at my online store.)

The pattern here is pretty simple to make.  I used an old rubber hose I found on the ground.  (Yes, I cleaned it first!!!)

I took my leatherman to it and made 9 disks by cutting them all about 1/4 in thick.  I then took my round nosed pliers (see below) and made 10 figure “8s.”  The round parts of each side of the figure “8″ should be at least 1/4 in, to allow room to fit inside.

I linked the figure the rubber rings using the “8s” into a chain, of sorts.  I then used the figure “8″ on each end to attach a clasp. (Not visible in above.  Look below for an example.)

Yup, that was it.
