Rubadubdub, One Vet in a Tub
The man you see at the top of the post is Joe Inglis, a veterinarian from the United Kingdom. In order to raise money, he built the giant dog-dish boat from an old cow trough (for those of you that saw it was made out of an old cow trough immediately–you get the junk creation gold star of the day).
His stunt gained him 9 days on the river Thames, and yielded money donated to help get hearing dogs for deaf people (no, not seeing-ear dogs…that doesn’t make sense, no matter how many times you try it).
I don’t know about all of you, but I think there’s probably not many people, even among us, who would try out 9 days in anything a cow’s been around for an extended period of time. (There is a possible exception for cattle handlers and ranchers–none of whom are likely to read this blog because they lead such busy lives. If you are a one of these possible cow exceptions, comment for me, I’d like to hear your thoughts on 9 days in an old cow trough!)
