Scrap Paper for Note Taking

I know, I know: I’ve got another short, simple project for How-To Friday. But this one is SO good.
During my class on Thursday, I overheard someone talking about how they reuse paper that they previously printed things on, but that they didn’t need anymore, to take their notes for class. I wanted to shake their hand and thank them for another simple idea for making junk useful (but I didn’t because I figured that it would show I eavesdropped on their conversation–besides, they didn’t know me, so it would have been awkward…).
Does anyone else do this? Was I just out of the loop? Fill me in!

I don’t use it for notetaking. I’m afraid I would accidentally throw it away. It is good for doodling or making notepads from. One school I taught at took old copy paper, cut it, and actually made little tablets from it. I’m not sure what kind of glue they used on the adhesive end to hold the pages together though.

They may have had a special binding machine that took care of it for them…who knows?
Great idea, though–and that’s a thought I hadn’t had about accidentally throwing your notes away. User beware!

Oh my goodness, I can’t begin to tell you the number of papers we have thrown away or almost thrown away that my husband has written phone numbers on.

I believe it–I suppose that happens at my house, too.

Yes! Even my parents have done this, for at least as long as I can remember…

And today I made a cd-cover of some old book pages (the book was broken). Maybe something you can do with scrap paper too? (picture in my blog)
