Tennis Raquet Cover Wallet

by Joshua Johnson on October 27th, 2007

I’ve featured Etsy.com items for sale before, but this one is one of the better ones, even if it does look moderately easy to make.

The title for this one is: Tennis Card Holder, posted by mittenmaker.

To quote the product description:

This item is a minimally-sized wallet made from vintage tennis racket covers. Great for the person who doesn’t want a bulky wallet, it measures approximately 4×6″ when open and contains 2 inside pockets perfectly sized for credit cards and business cards. Sewn with heavy-duty nylon thread, the color is bright blue vinyl with white lettering and stitching. The inside pockets are black.

I like the simplicity of the item, I think it works well for the on-the-go types that don’t use cash.  Way to go, mittenmaker!

(I really need to get onto this Etsy.com place with some of my own stuff…  Maybe sometime I’ll see what other weird retro stuff I can make wallets out of…)
